Cover: Festive Stage Tower - Tower 1
This week we released Festive Stage Tower, a new stage tower obby themed for the holiday season. The game is now completed with 300 stages across 3 large towers (150x150x6+) and even a secret badge. You can play it on Roblox at this link right now!
Gameplay
We understand that the general theme of this tower was likely to attract a new audience, so we decided to make it slightly easier than the others and with a lot more directional hints. You can see the arrows on the first few stages.
We built a lot of unique and purpose-themed stages specifically for this game as well as new generic stages to provide some more fresh gameplay for our existing fans. We believe in keeping our content fresh while also adapting the best of our existing content from less popular games that may not of seen enough attention yet. This also allows us to move faster with better and more ideas as we’re not stuck constantly with coming up with new content. We assert that there is never more than one stage/level in the same game, as goes for all our titles.
Inspiration
We were inspired by the Christmas holiday (also referred to as Xmas). Our stages were designed completely with our knowledge and we did not play any other christmas themed obbies during our production.
Saturation
Unsurprisingly, there’s a lot of obbies already about Christmas. We primarily used the name Festive Stage Tower due to its uniqueness and inclusivity. Although there were no ‘Christmas Stage Tower’ games, we wanted to avoid conflicts with existing games such as ‘Christmas Tower’. Due to this saturation we don’t expect roaring success on this title within the current year. However, time will tell for next year.
Our First Secret
We decided to experiment with a little secret badge with this game. There’s a secret somewhere in the game that gives you the secret badge, can you find it?
If you can’t thats okay, we’ll spoil it here for you, just hover over to view it:
It’s cute, in our opinion :)
Codes
Once again, as a reminder, we do not do codes with our games under Towerable. Not yet, at least. Code supports actively planned in the second version of the current obby system we use by WOU, however, currently, that is unfinished.
Thanks for reading!
We’ll have more technical information in the coming days or hours. Thanks for being here, or even, making your way here a while in the future. We appreciate it.
Sincerely, Towerable.
