Welcome to June 2026! So far this year we’ve released only released 1 tower (Autumn Stage Tower) and we know our fans have been waiting for more. So, in this blog post we’re going to be covering some early ideas for our next towers. These games are very early and are in the drafting phase so technically there’s no gurantee we get these out the door this year, but we’d like to share some small things to show you all where we are. Unfortunately, we need to be vague in detail. Not only because we don’t want to limit ourselves to one idea, but also because a lot of developers tend to copy us without credit, so we like to only share details when we have a date.
Anyway, without further ado, here are some small hints on what’s next:
1. Another cold tower
This is our planned major release this year and the focus of this blog post.
With the winter season closing in in the southern hemisphere, we have another ‘cold’ tower coming. We want to show love to the game that got us off the ground, Snowflake Stage Tower, and coming up on our 1st year anniversary we’d thought it’d be nice to pay homage to it.
Hold on though, there’s a lot more special mechanics we’re making to this new ‘frosty’ stage tower. It’s not just a carbon copy of Snowflake Stage Tower or another winter-themed tower, it’s something we’re very excited about. We hope to have more information on this frosty stage tower in the coming weeks or months!
This is our main release this year and we’re trying to make it perfect!
2. A fractured void of a tower
This one was supposed to be a small February (or March) special. Instead, we chose to work on Autumn Stage Tower. We may return to it later, and we want you to know what we’ve made so far. This tower was set in a desolate void inspired by the dark-white aesthetic and the desolate landscape of Resident Evil Requiem, minus the creature. We took that feeling of memory and despair and turned it into a tower of fractured or fragmented remains.
3. Some sort of hazardous stage tower
Sorry to be vague, but this was also another release scheduled for February. Due to our hard quality guidelines, this release was unfortunately delayed. This is another dark and gloomy tower where players need to be careful about where they tread. We don’t want to share too much, as we’re not sure if we’ll finish it this year, but just know this was another tower with specialized mechanics.
Summary
In summary, we’re aiming for one more major release this year, but we hope to see a lot of smaller releases sprinkled throughout. Keep your eyes open for more announcements from us on our blog or the Obby Forum and we’ll see you soon with more news and information!
